Assorted Photo Manipulations

 

Altering photos or using photos as source material to create “art” is what got me in into Photoshop initially.  The image below is sourced from photos I took while inBadlands, SD in the late 90′s and was the very first image I manipulated (destroyed) with Photoshop.

This below is a mirrored (like above) manipulation of photos I took of Mt. St. Helens during the same roundtrip although tweaked in Photoshop in the last few years.  I had a few copies printed at about 6′ wide.  There isa lot of nuanced detail (click for large preview).  Note the ‘heads’ along the center of the piece.
